oregon young scholars program:
center for multicultural academic excellence
The Oregon Young Scholars Program (OYSP) was developed to create an educational opportunity for BIPOC/Underrepresented high school students located on the west coast. The program offers skill building exercises and workshops to provide students to learn about resources for college, career exploration, and community building. As a workshop leader, I ran art educational workshops for students at the Jordan Schnitzer Museum Art to learn skills to explore the importance of identity representation in creative fields.
